Press Release - Marketing Automation Experts Marqui Appoint Richard Sharp as Vice President of Marketing

Vancouver, BC – April 7, 2009 – Marketing Automation experts Marqui Solutions Inc. today announced the appointment of Richard Sharp to the position of vice president of marketing. Richard will focus on ramping up demand generation efforts as well as developing the company's consulting practice to help clients quickly realize the benefits of marketing automation technology.

Richard joins Marqui from Elastic Path Software, where he led marketing at the ecommerce software company which serves global brands including Avis, Time Inc. and Aeroplan. His 15 plus years of experience include product management and marketing roles at NASDAQ listed telecommunications companies Adaptive Broadband and Airspan Networks, and consumer electronics multi-national Philips Electronics. Richard holds a bachelors degree in control engineering from the University of Sheffield and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, both in the UK.
