Senior Sales Manager / Director
You are a proven sales leader who thrives on creating a winning environment for your sales team. You are results-driven and are relentless with sales methodology and measurement. You have experience interfacing with senior level management in customer organizations and can successfully communicate the value proposition to prospects. Your proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales goals / targets stands on merit and shows you have what it takes to deliver results.
You are able to balance both roles of mentoring your sales team while actively hunting and closing deals. The position reports to the CEO and will manage all sales activities including building / developing the team and managing sales pipeline and metrics.

Primary Responsibilities
• Manage and deliver results through strong sales leadership
• Develop, progress, and close business opportunities for Marqui’s  products and services
• Build rapport at senior management levels with prospective client companies
• Work closely with the marketing team to stay aligned on lead generation processes
• Clearly articulate the Marqui value proposition in a compelling manner
• Lead the sales team to achieve sales targets and market capture goals
• Submit accurate sales forecasts based on standard sales management reporting tools
• Devise a working strategy for ensuring the most effective sales methodology for both short term and  long term sales success

Key Skills/Attributes
• Strong sales track record
• Strong relationship management Strong leadership skills
• Experience selling software solutions, ideally within a SaaS model
• Experience managing a telesales function
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of the marketing function and a solid understanding of web technologies
• Open and outgoing personality with compelling presentation style


Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree
• 8+ years sales experience
• Previous sales experience in software selling - Content Management Systems, CRM, Marketing Services or similar an advantage
• Consistent track record and history in sales achievement
• Previous small company /start-up experience is a plus
